This role requires a profound understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools, along with the responsibility to implement and maintain these systems for comprehensive coverage of our Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in identifying and resolving defects. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of automated testing strategies for Salesforce projects, ensuring comprehensive coverage and quality.
- Develop automated test scripts and frameworks using preferred testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP/UFT, or specific Salesforce automation tools).
- Work closely with the development team to integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Conduct various types of testing, including but not limited to functional, regression, performance, and integration testing, with a focus on automation.
- Continuously evaluate and introduce improvements to the automation testing process, tools, and methodologies to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing, with a significant focus on automation testing and the use of automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and experience with Salesforce-specific testing tools (e.g., Salesforce Inspector, Provar) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to develop automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills and the capability to work effectively in a team environment, particularly in remote settings.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
