Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Smart Home Design Engineer at Redwood Technologies. The Smart Home Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing smart home systems, including audio video, home theater, lighting control, and video surveillance. They will utilize skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer-aided design (CAD) to create innovative and efficient smart home solutions. You will work remotely and report to Redwood HQ in Dubai. Qualifications
- Design Engineering and Product Design skills
- Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in the home automation or smart home industry is a must
- Experience in Control4, KNX, Lutron, Crestron is a major plus.
