Murex Automation Engineer

Role Overview Institutional The Institutional domain will deliver full end-to-end world class products and services to our global Institutional, Corporate and Commercial and Retail customers across Asia. It will incorporate capabilities across areas of Investment Banking, Trading and Sales, Cash Management, Wholesale Lending and Trade Finance and with a single view of a customer to better integrate business and technology in creating a seamless customer experience. The domain will lead digital transformation in areas such as trade and supply chain management to create a seamless customer experience. Role Skills and Responsibilities What will be in your toolkit

Specialised Skills • 6+ years of experience in Murex BackOffice / Trade Life Cycle • Business and Technical Analysis of changes, effort estimation, solution design, development and unit testing • End to end ownership of tasks • Drive solution design discussions with wider team and mentor/train more junior members of the teams • Understanding of SSI, payments, deliverables, Netting • Back office events like Corporate actions , roll-over , Capital increase-decrease • Understanding of static and reference data • MxML development in the area of BO (Back office)• BO configurations related to fixings, payments, netting, SSI priority etc. • SSI management and maintenance (nostro, Vostro, SSI assignment logic)• Cash settlements (release cycle, netting, fixing, split etc)• Confirmation instruction setup and assignment • Proven experience in a similar role involving Back Office support and interaction with business stakeholders. • A desire to write tools and applications to automate work rather than do everything by hand. • Programming and scripting fundamentals.
