Using our proprietary IoT sensor, Aurora, we collect billions of data points everyday from shoppers in over 100+ countries around the world. Ultimately, the data we provide to retailers helps them to make the decisions that will improve your shopping experience.The Collections Manager will be responsible for setting and maintaining our company-wide collections forecast, working with the AR Managers to drive collections on each of their accounts and supporting them to solve account-related issues that are creating delays with collections.Negotiate with customers in cases of non-payment, dispute, and settlement, while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all processes within the Accounts Receivable Operations.Set and monitor collection targets, unapplied cash receipt and other KPIs, holding team members accountable for meeting these targets.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, drive transformation activities, and lead project planning and execution.This position will be the direct contact for the AR Account Managers regarding collections, and will assist with resolving issues and providing guidance on how to address these matters. They will ensure that all AR Account Managers have been contacting customers on an adequate basis and ensure that all notes are kept up-to-date. They will also ensure that all Tasks relating to collections are being completed in Gaviti or other relevant platforms.Responsibilities:Assume the responsibility for all AR Account Managers collections issues and escalating matters directly to the Manager or Sales team.Ensure that customers are contacted on an adequate basis depending on the customer's classification.(Bad,good, problem,slow paying)Ensure all problem customers have been called on a regular basis (e.g., 2x monthly).Ensure AR Managers have completed and up to date notes within the Gaviti platform each week.Ensure all problem accounts have been escalated on a bi-weekly basis to the relevant ADsDevelop a communication cadence with the ADs & REMs to ensure that problem accounts are being addressed by the Sales team if needed on a bi-weekly basis or as neededEnsure all steps have been followed to ensure that collections are successful (Email,Call, Escalate to REM & AD, Escalate to Manager)Notify the Manager of all accounts that need to be suspended and the reasonWork with billing manager and other teams to resolve collection roadblocks/bottlenecksAssist with Training of AR Managers relating to collectionsWhat's it like to work here?Working Environment: We are a "Remote-First" Hybrid company, meaning we are set up to operate effectively for fully-remote employees but have some distributed offices to allow our employees to gather.
