Senior Data Scientist

Skills Complexity and creativity

• Advanced experience with SQL (SSMS/Snowflake)
• Intermediate with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau
• Advanced experience with a programming language such as R, Python and any other statistical tools
• Advanced experience with web-based repositories e.g. Gitlab/Github
• Advanced data preprocessing skills (data cleaning, missing value imputation, outlier analysis)
• Advanced knowledge of statistical modelling and ML algorithms and a strong ability to identify use cases for the application of these.
• Demonstrate an ability to work with a wide range of multi-source data
• Continuous research and development (Tool stack, machine learning algorithms)
• Produce advanced visualisations for business applications
• Use ML techniques to produce predictive models that aide in analytical approaches to answering business questions.
• Implement full data science life cycle in production (100%)
• Communicate technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience and Education

• At least 4 years of work experience as a data scientist, data analyst, mathematician, computer scientist or statistician
• Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Sciences, Physics, Finance, Economics or Engineering.
• Certification/qualification in Data Science (Shiny app, R Packages etc)
