Cisco Network Engineer

Experience - 5 - 8 years. Location - Pan India (Preferably Mumbai). Mandatory Skills: Networking & Telephony. Mandatory CCNP Certified. Networking Tasks Network Monitoring Knowledge on SilverPeak SDWAN Access rule changes in Firewall as per the client requirement Sprint MPLS access rule changes New Firewall/Switch Configuration as per Client Standard Handling Wireless Controller/Wireless Access points Handling Service-Now Incidents and Changes related to Client network Coordinate with Vendors to solve the network related issues Knowledge on AWS Routing, Switching and Security Telephony Support Task (8x8) Provide remote support for moves, adds, changes and decommission (IMACDs) and Business as usual (BAU) requests Implement, manage and maintain dialing plans Support telephony client on approved end point devices Conduct testing & maintenance activities as required on a regular recurring basis Provide prompt response to any VOIP infrastructure support (e.g., session border controllers, gateways, media servers, and SIP endpoints) Escalate to Avaya for any L3 support and work with them till problem resolution Facilitate and support Third Party vendor’s for the voice connectivity to PBXs and any 911 emergency services/equipment Provide detailed explanation of Outages that identify the scope impact and preventative measures being taken to prevent future similar Outages (if required coordinating with the OEM) Manage Voicemail services, Directory Listing, documentation of the entire telephony setup Industry standard Certifications.
