Job Description: The HR BI Senior Manager will play a crucial role within the Global HR Excellence & Analytics team, overseeing day-to-day deliverables while spearheading innovation in HR Reporting. This pivotal position integrates a solid foundation in HR analytics with advanced technical expertise in Python, data modelling, AI, and predictive analytics. The ideal candidate will lead the charge in innovating HR processes, harnessing state-of-the-art technologies to optimize decision-making and improve operational efficiency. The mission of the HR Excellence & Analytics team is to provide pertinent and accurate workforce insights, enabling data-driven decisions to address business challenges, enhance outcomes for individuals and stakeholders, and elevate the overall quality of decisions. The team includes analysts responsible for maintaining data collection processes, generating reports in HR systems, extracting, and processing data, developing, and maintaining dashboards in BI tools, and conducting analyses to derive valuable insights. The Senior Manager will closely collaborate with the IT Business Intelligence team, serving as a vital link between stakeholders (HR Business Partners, HR Directors, Business Leaders, External Vendors, 3rd Parties) and analysts. This involves detailing stakeholder requirements and ensuring their timely delivery. Additional responsibilities encompass identifying and correlating relevant data points to address stakeholder questions or conduct ad hoc analyses. The Senior Manager will also be involved in quality control, establishing protocols for periodic KPI production, reviewing and allocating service tickets to relevant teams, and addressing data integrity issues. Key Responsibilities: Team Management:

  • Manage the workload of the HR Excellence & Analytics team, assigning projects and tasks effectively.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Understand external and internal business contexts, supporting stakeholders in formulating workforce information, KPIs, reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Define project scopes, formulate detailed requirements for analysts, and ensure the timely delivery of requests.
Quality Control and Automation:
  • Apply logic to raw data sets, validate automated calculations, and establish QC protocols for periodic KPI production.
  • Identify opportunities to automate existing insights production and reporting tasks within HR teams.
Collaboration and Training:
  • Collaborate with the IT Business Intelligence team, acting as an interlock between stakeholders and analysts.
  • Build strong working relationships with HR teams, Business Leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop training material for the HR community on using HR Analytics tools.
Data and Analytics Inputs:
  • Provide data and analytics inputs for monitoring HR service delivery efficiency.
  • Focus on data quality, assurance activities, data audit requirements, and data governance.
Special Projects and Troubleshooting:
  • Support special projects with HR data and analytics expertise.
  • Troubleshoot data and reports as needed.
Technical Leadership in HR Analytics:
  • Utilize advanced technical skills, including proficiency in Python, to lead the development and implementation of HR analytics strategies.
  • Drive the exploration and application of AI and predictive analytics to enhance talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
Data Modelling and Analysis:
  • Design and implement robust data models to extract meaningful insights from HR data sets.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
Automation Solutions:
  • Lead the identification and implementation of automation solutions within HR processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to integrate automation tools seamlessly into existing HR systems.
Innovative HR Technology:
  • Stay at the forefront of HR technology trends, proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance HR analytics capabilities.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Engagement:
  • Collaborate closely with HR business partners, IT, and other relevant departments to align technical initiatives with broader organizational goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of complex HR analytics and automation projects.
Training and Development:
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the technical capabilities of HR staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent in , Data Science, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven 11 to 14 years of experience in HR analytics with expertise in Python, data modeling, AI, and predictive analytics.
  • Demonstrated track record in implementing automation solutions within HR processes.
  • Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and HR systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience in Reporting & Data Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM Systems and its Reporting Capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Broad knowledge of HR Concepts & Terminology.
  • Project and resource management skills.
  • HR operations or HR shared service team management experience considered an asset.
  • Exposure to other data visualization tools considered an asset.
  • Exposure to advanced analytics techniques and statistical tools considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of current and forward-looking trends in HR Data and Analytics.
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and improvement in data and analytics.
  • Ability to motivate others, boost morale, and build commitment within the team.
  • Proven experience leading and driving business change.
  • Proven experience managing projects and using data effectively within a PM role.
  • Confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive situations within data protection legislation.

  • Proven experience advising and supporting internal and external stakeholders.
