- Work on latest edge Cloud computing to solve difficult, manual and repeatable tasks for users adopting Cloud technologies like AWS, Salesforce, Microsoft and more
- Use the latest trends on building SaaS applications using multitenancy, scalability large data volumes / Big Data and more
- Develop and expand our portfolio to support most popular Cloud apps (200+)
- Develop understanding of not just software development, but also how to design, develop and launch a product from concept to high customer use.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars to data engineering team members, both in-person and through virtual platforms.
- Must be comfortable in front of the camera, creating Videos for training.
- Design, develop, and update training curriculum for data engineering team members, covering a range of technical topics and skills relevant to their roles.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs, learning objectives, and key competencies.
- Develop instructional materials, including presentations, training manuals, hands-on exercises, and assessments.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to different learning styles and preferences.
- Provide coaching and support to learners, addressing questions, clarifying concepts, and providing guidance on practical applications.
- Maintain a deep understanding of data engineering principles, tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in data engineering and related fields.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, offering guidance, advice, and mentorship to data engineering team members.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
- Analyze training outcomes and learner performance to identify areas for improvement and refinement.
- Provide constructive feedback to learners to support their development and growth.
- Continuously update and refine training content and materials to reflect evolving business needs, technology advancements, and industry trends.
- Seek opportunities to enhance training delivery methods and approaches, leveraging innovative techniques and technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and suggestions for improving training programs and processes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience of 5 years in data engineering roles, with a strong foundation in data pipeline development, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Experience designing and delivering technical training programs or workshops, preferably in the field of data engineering or related areas.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong understanding of database systems, SQL, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with diverse audiences.
- Passion for learning and teaching, with a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and related services.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or instructional design (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance, etc.).
