Hangar Assistant

VACANCY: Hangar Assistant REPORTING TO: Dispatch Supervisor LOCATION: Durban Starlite Aviation Training Academy (Pty) Ltd has a requirement for a punctual reliable hardworking team player to fill this position in Durban within the Starlite Aviation Group . KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning and upkeep of hangar including sweeping and mopping floor
• Cleaning helipads and surrounding areas
• Cleaning of interior and exterior of aircraft according to our corrosion control programme
• Moving and refuelling of aircraft
• Maintenance of garden/lawn
• Other duties as assigned.

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Good communication skills
• Strong on compliance
• Strong focus on Safety and Quality
• Report to duty on time and manage time keeping
• Ability to lift and move reasonable loads.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position:

• Grade 12
• Previous experience with aviation support (advantageous)
