- Thematic Analysis: Conduct in-depth sector analysis through desktop research and expert interviews to identify potential investment targets and present actionable conclusions to the Investment Committee.
- Financial Analysis, Due Diligence, and Deal Execution: Lead end-to-end evaluation of investment opportunities, including financial modelling, due diligence, management meetings, legal negotiations, and presentations to the Investment Committee.
- Portfolio Management: Collaborate with senior investment professionals to monitor portfolio company performance, support strategic growth initiatives, and manage portfolio exits.
Qualifications:
- Strong academic qualifications with at least 4 to 8 years of combined experience in Southeast Asia tech and tech-enabled companies AND a top-tier investment bank, private equity fund, management consulting firm.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, including extensive financial modelling experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, keen eye for detail, ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
- Driven self-starter with a passion for technology and innovation, with a demonstrated interest in technology investments.
- Strong link to Southeast Asia through living, working, or studying in the region.
- Global mindset with a track record of international activities outside the home country.
