Company Description Rohan Tooling Solutions Pvt Ltd is engaged in the business of Industrial consumables with the manufacturing plant located in IMT Manesar, Gurugram. The company was founded by Mr. Mahesh Gandhi in 2004, whose first business entity, S.S. Traders, which is a sister concern of Rohan Tooling and is still a healthy running entity, was established in 1983 at the same time when Maruti was setting up its plant in Gurgaon. Rohan Tooling is into manufacturing of Solid Carbide & PCD metal cutting tools and auto components. The company is also into trading of metal cutting tools, industrial lubricants and abrasives. Rohan Tooling and its sister concern companies are channel partners for Sandvik Coromant, TOTAL Lubricants, Grindwell Norton, Gulf Lubricants, KTA Spindle Toolings, Groz Tools and other brands. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Application Engineer at Rohan Tooling Solutions Pvt Ltd. The Sales Application Engineer will be responsible for working with customers to understand their needs and proposing custom tooling solutions to meet those needs. They will be a key technical liaison between the customers and Rohan Tooling Solutions Pvt Ltd's design and manufacturing teams. They will be responsible for traveling to customer sites and trade-shows as needed to represent Rohan Tooling Solutions Pvt Ltd and their products. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in sales engineering, customer service, or related fields
- Experience in the tooling industry or a related industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Experience with modeling and simulation software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to travel to customer sites and trade-shows as needed
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the same territory with a company dealing in industrial consumables is mandatory for this role
