Job details
Roles and responsibilities:
- Ensure that the Settlement activities for Capital Market products (FX, MM, IRS, CCS & Securities) are correctly and timely processed within the market / currency cut-off times.
- Liaise with internal and external customers to resolve settlement issues/discrepancies
- Exchanging of SSI with counterparties
- Reporting of OTC derivatives transactions to DTCC
- Investigation of nostro breaks
- Reconciliation of securities holdings balances
- Drives process improvement and review internal controls guidelines
- Participates in system UAT and industry projects
- Assist to review and update work procedures periodically
- Liaise with internal and external auditors during audit period
- Attend to any other duties as assigned from time to time by Team Head or Management
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in banking (Back office)
- Subject matter expert in Treasury Operations/ Settlements
- Subject matter expert in processing non-bank customer’s flows
- Good knowledge of Accounting postings of Capital market products
- Good knowledge of Euroclear settlement process and DTCC reporting
- Good project management skills
