Technical Accounting Lead - US Listed Group

Our client is a reputable US Listed Group. Due to expansion plan in APAC region, they are looking for high caliber candidate with strong technical accounting background to join and lead the Technical Accounting team. Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Finance you will lead a small team of technical accounting professionals and foster a culture of continuous learning & development. As a team, you will provide expert guidance on complex technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS; collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting-related matters arising from business transactions; work with the Finance team to enhance the accuracy and completeness of financial disclosures. Be the key point of contact to the external auditors, SEC and other regulators for any technical accounting quieries. You will also be involved in any ad hoc group level / regional level projects. Requirements You are degree holder who possesses relevant professional qualification, with a minimum of 12 years in technical accounting roles, with a strong focus on USGAAP and IFRS. Prior experience in a leadership or team management is essential. You are someone that will thrive in a fast pace environment. You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills. You are detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
