About The Role My client is an asset servicing banking and they are seeking a Fund Accountant Manager to join their team in Dublin City Centre. You will ensure the team provides high quality service through the management of day-to-day fund accounting activity. The individual will ensure there is a superior level of service and have strong subject matter expertise in UCITS funds and AIF. They are in charge of organising and supervising the team activity, and are the primary point of contact in case of internal and external escalation. The individual will be responsible for resolving complex client issues and preparing analysis and proposed solutions to Senior Management. You will be reporting to the Head of Fund Accounting.
- Act as Manager and first escalation point for Fund Accounting team
- Ensure the Accuracy, Timeliness, Responsiveness and completeness of all Fund Accounting related NAV Production, Oversight and Client requests
- Accountable for ongoing satisfaction of our clients by ensuring that the team’s deliverables meet client needs and expectations including prompt and accurate client query management and providing management support to the team acting as a Senior Escalation Point
- Acts as a senior point of contact for Partner/complex clients. Work with relevant teams, internal and external, to manage queries and issues to completion, keeping the client informed at all times.
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and execute on their implementation to enhance our service and value proposition for our clients.
- Develop and maintain professional and productive working relationships with all business partners; working alongside them to ensure a successful resolution of client issues.
- Participate in and contribute to Client team meetings conducted by Client Management.
- Anticipate issues and proactively work to address concerns before they escalate.
- Advise line manager of all significant issues, suggest resolution where possible and escalate to the client manager as appropriate
- Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years in Fund Accounting, at least 2 at Supervisory level
- You have excellent communication and writing skills
