FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - DUBLIN 15. Our client is a leading provider of hi-tech engineering mechanisms and controls. We have been retained to recruit a Financial Controller for the company. There is some opportunity for this role to be partly remote. The successful candidate will professionally execute the Financial Controller’s role and provide support and guidance to all functions of the business to help ensure that the company financial targets are achieved. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This role reports to the General Manager and the Business Unit Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all financial processes and procedures are executed in a timely manner to support the reporting timeline of the Business Unit. That all controls are maintained to a high standard. That the necessary support and guidance will be provided to the Management Team to allow for informed and consensus-based decision making. The main duties and responsibilities are as follows: Participate in management meetings Update Cash Forecast to Treasury Raw Material Stock Counts verification Monthly Accounting Management Reporting 3-year strategic plan build up Annual budget Manufacturing Planning Payroll, review and bank Supplier payments & review Statutory Audits Statutory Accounts R&D Tax computation work with external advisor Corporation Tax Return with R&D Update adhoc reports, EAC, etc.. Support to Management Team Multiple Statutory Surveys by CSO Ireland Statutory Board Meeting Filing Annual Return to Companies Registration Office Tax Filing on ROS for PAYE, VAT, Interstat & VIES Insurances Company Secretarial tasks Interested applicants should be fully qualified with a minimum of 3-5 years' industry experience. Experience with construction accounting is desirable (not essential) as many of the company's contracts are long-term in nature and a revenue recognised model is used.
