What is the job:

What will be expected of you?

• Obtain understanding of the auditee prior to audit
• Meet with various process owners to discuss and document the process.
• Conduct walkthrough of the process and key controls identified to ensure adequacy of the design and implementation.
• Perform store audits from initiation to completion.
• Perform audits of financial, operational, and compliance controls.
• Identify and report on risks and control weaknesses.
• Make recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain the internal audit files and records.
• Undertake audits as per the annual audit plan.
• Write draft reports containing findings and agreed on corrective action.
• Review procedures as required.
• Document audits in accordance with the audit file standards.
• Execute head office audits.
• Administrative and ad hoc duties relating to the above

Are you qualified?

• Applicants for this position should have a recognized qualification (Bcom/Diploma/B-tech in Internal Auditing/Accounting and CIA (studying or completed) preferred.

Did you do this before?

• 3 years Internal Audit experience in a similar role or completed articles.

Do you have what it takes?

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Excel/MS Word
• Must have their own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Available to travel as required.
• This role needs an individual who preferably understands the QSR/FMCG industry.
