R&D Project Manager Remote, 6+ month contract The role of the R&D Project Manager will be to deploy an existing application onto an established platform for an R&D group following the established approach and methodology of previous projects. The R&D project manager's objective is to coordinate the team's efforts and bring the application live by the end of 2024 Responsibilities: Project Planning:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Allocate resources and budget for project tasks.

Project Execution:
  • Lead project team members and provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Address issues and risks that may arise during project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders regularly.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and solicit feedback to ensure alignment with project goals.
Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address issues that may impact project timeline or budget.
Quality Assurance:
  • Establish quality standards and ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Team Management:
  • Build and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide support to team members as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Prepare regular status reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, etc.).
  • Proven project management experience in the Life Sciences.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Understand what GxP is and how it is applicable in the deliverables .
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable but not required.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
  • Able to lead the project.
  • Ability to working autonomously.
  • Possess strong soft skills.
  • Possess organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing project requirements.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) is a plus.
