About the Opportunity: As our next Training and Advisory Specialist you will have the opportunity to leverage your mortgage servicing experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Scripted Workflow Automation within our LoanServ platform. Your expertise and strong communication skills will ensure your success in the role as you create business designs catered to customer and/or internal business requests. You will also showcase your technical aptitude by developing and testing the scripted macros within LoanServ. Finally, the communication will once again be key when you are interacting with and directly supporting internal stakeholders and customers, alike. Familiarity with Sagent’s LoanServ product, as well as the technical development of scripted workflows will put your candidacy ahead of the rest. And there’s more! Your Day-to-Day at Sagent:
- Support new client onboarding activities by offering automation support, utilities, and customized workflow specific to each customer need.
- Monitor the status, coordinate, and effectively communicate progress and any potential problems to team lead/project coordinator/project manager for awareness and/or resolution.
- Analyze and determine scripted workflow requirements and provide to customer, vendor and appropriate departments to include specific customized step-by-step logic and general understanding.
- Create business deign, technical design, and testing documents to accurately portray the purpose, functionality, and benefit of utilizing the scripted workflow.
- Participate in cross training to include additional Sagent products and functions within LoanServ with the result being the ability to support additional feature/functions and expand your knowledge base
- Conduct onsite and virtual advisory services which includes business process reviews, changes to system configuration, and user acceptance testing support.
- Ability to bridge and operate within Eastern standard U.S. operating hours for at minimum 25% of the day.
- Bachelors Degree with 3-4 years of experience OR 5-7 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years’ experience in mortgage servicing, financial services industry, or a closely related field
- Experience managing small to medium sized technical development projects.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Scripted Workflow Automation within our LoanServ platform.

- Thorough understanding of LoanServ’s scripted workflow automation tool, as well as business acumen to translate customer specifications into technical logic.
- Experience in web-based programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, XML. Familiarity with programming macros based on user specifications.
