This role will be critical to the successful implementation of processes and technologies enabling engineering and product to deliver against strategic business objectives. In this role, you will be an integrator and enabler for better decision-making, helping business leaders apply resources to the right outcomes at the right time, focusing the organization on work that matters and serving as the glue that keeps the organization aligned in times of change. This role will lead a complex portfolio area with high strategic importance. Experience working with product driven programs including growth markets, product features, customized product delivery and contract SLAs is essential to the overall success of this role. Day to day work will include developing long/medium/short term goals to achieve business outcomes, defining roles and responsibilities for executing on goals, driving dependency mapping and resolution, mitigating risks, ROI, communicating status and tracking metrics against goals. This role will require the driving of alignment across cross functional technical and non-technical teams. A working technical background including architecture, observability, networking, DevOps, and security is required. Job Duties

  • Portfolio management: Align with Product Owners, Technology Leaders and other key stakeholders to define objectives, key performance indicators, metrics, timelines, risks and ROI for all programs in the portfolio
  • Capacity planning: Work with cross functional teams to develop an ROI, budget forecast, and resource allocation.
  • Mentoring: Provide training, coaching and guidance to other program managers and delivery teams on portfolio and program management best practices.
  • Performance and risk management: Proactively define ways to identify risk, strategically manage risks across all areas of the program including budget, resource, technical and non-technical dependencies, and drive toward resolution
  • Strategic communication: Crafting and delivering critical information surrounding programs to enable leaders to make informed business decisions.
  • Drive program management standards:
  • Drive within program and cross program execution, status communication, and brings continued visibility to the program.
  • Lead all status and leadership decision meetings regarding the program.
  • Develop, track and report and key metrics from the Customer, Product and Technology point of view to ensure continuous alignment and pivoting when necessary to meet business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with all areas of the business to define their needs, track their metrics and establish processes for clear ownership, reporting, and escalation channels.
Job Requirements
  • Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10 - 12 years of experience defining and driving large scale, highly complex strategic programs
  • Technical background including architecture and networking
  • Expertise in defining key metrics, tracking executable work to metrics and reporting on metrics across technical and non-technical audiences and a variety of leadership levels
  • Expertise setting, driving and managing a diverse set of expectations
  • Communication & Collaboration:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience leading diverse teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting operations, businesses, functions, or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with individuals from all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational, conflict management and issue resolution skills
  • Outcome-driven:
  • Ability to define and drive outcomes in areas with high ambiguity.
  • Ability to pivot resources, KPIs and communications when necessary to ensure continued alignment with business priorities
  • Critical-thinking and business acumen:
  • Strong strategic thinking with excellent program management and leadership skills
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to define and utilize quantitative and qualitative management information or transactional reports to identify key trends and tie to larger strategic business objectives
  • Systems & Tools:
  • Strong software skills (Clarizen, Gitlab, JIRA, Confluence)
  • Demonstrated experience leading implementation of multiple complex programs, with an understanding of systems development lifecycles, business analysis, and requirements processes
  • This position required sitting, typing, and repetitive motions
Advanced Requirements (Prior experience and familiarity in some of the following is a plus, but not required)
  • 3+ years’ experience in financial services, corporate, or investment banking industry is preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in a technical role including but not limited to TechOps, SRE, DevOps, Networking Engineer.
  • 2+ years experience in a product based role including but not limited to M&A, Time to Market, Product Manager, Product Owner

Compensation The expected earnings for this role could be comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions as applicable. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation. **Please note applicants applying for this position must have the legal right to work in India without the need for sponsorship.
