Payroll Officer (Travel/Tourism/DMC)

Job Title : Payroll Officer (Travel/Tourism/DMC) Start Date : As Soon As Possible Location : Bryanston, Johannesburg Job Type : Full Time | On-site Salary : Market-Related (Medical Aid and Provident Fund Included) Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced experience with Sage payroll software.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, bonuses, and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding payroll.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of employee hours worked, wages paid, and other payroll-related information.
• Process and maintain employee benefits, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
• Assist with year-end payroll processes, including preparing and distributing forms.
• Work closely with the HR department to ensure accurate employee records and compliance with company policies.
