Tier II Support Engineer (JB4336) Cape Town or Johannesburg (Remote) R16 - 25 000 per month, CTC  Permanent Join a dynamic and growing IT Solutions company with a solid presence in KZN, Cape Town, and Johannesburg and contribute to their clients both technically and strategically to projects. The team is composed of passionate technologists who thrive on delivering top-tier managed services and bespoke solutions to their clients.   Minimum Requirements: Proven experience in server management, cloud technologies, and IT infrastructure. Strong background in IT security and network management. Experience in technical project management. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platforms and hosted PABX systems. Excellent documentation skills and the ability to convey technical insights. Must have a driver’s license and own vehicle. Willingness to work after hours and travel to client sites Duties and Responsibilities: Managing and troubleshooting server OS and related services including Windows Server, AD, DNS, and Group Policy. Deploying and managing cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, and Office 365 services. Overseeing infrastructure elements such as server hardware and virtualization technologies. Implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions along with DR testing. Enhancing IT security through managing firewalls, endpoint detection and response (EDR), software services, security policies, and penetration testing. Designing, troubleshooting, and implementing network solutions. Setting up and troubleshooting hosted PABX systems. Utilizing Microsoft Power Platforms in projects. Providing technical leadership in project management, scoping, and documentation.
