Title: Advanced/Senior SQL Developer Location: Hyderabad'/ Bangalore (Hybrid) Job description: Apptad is looking for an Advanced/Senior SQL developer- It is a Full-time/long term opportunity with us. Responsibilities
- Skilled in developing and producing SQL queries
- Ability to utilize SQL and Java to deliver reporting requirements
- Review, scrub and validate data to produce queries for internal stakeholders
- Ability to work with team members while working remotely to determine requirements and provide deliverables within agreed upon timelines
- Willing to invest the time necessary to understand complex databases to provide accurate and consistent queries and reporting
- Have the capacity to work with significant amounts of information, extract relevant information, draw logical conclusions, and disseminate with attention to detail and accuracy
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, organization, and segmentation techniques
- Make recommendations on how to reduce and eliminate repetitive tasks through automation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with shareholders
- Strong IT and mathematical skills
- Maintain the SQL database
- Help create and test SQL statements for data presentation and further automation
- Setting up and monitoring routine maintenance SQL jobs and developing / maintaining an alert strategy(s) for failed jobs and database problems and/or failures
- Modify / update T-SQL scripts for importing and organizing data
- Manage daily / monthly data and reporting processes automated through SQL Server agent
- Work closely with analysts and other department personnel in advising best SQL coding practices
- 5-6 years of SQL experience
- BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Information Management or Statistics
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, Tableau, etc.),
- databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
