Role Description As the founding UX Designer at StepSecurity, you will play a pivotal role and significantly influence the user experience of our industry-leading cybersecurity platform. You will collaborate closely with our seasoned engineering team. This is a full-time remote position based out of India. We’re seeking a visionary web UX Designer to spearhead the user experience for our security platform. Your role involves applying UX/UI best practices, staying abreast of emerging technologies, and providing strategic user interaction design insights. • Design and enhance the user experience for our web application ( meeting the needs of a diverse user base.
• Analyze the UX of industry leaders in the cybersecurity field and incorporate best practices in your design.
• Benchmark against top cybersecurity platforms to integrate industry-leading UX practices.
• Devise and deliver usability testing on low and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Author low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes as required.
• Create intuitive and visually appealing web interfaces.
• Employ a human-centered design approach, rapidly iterating designs based on user feedback.
• Analyze and optimize UX to boost engagement and enhance our market footprint.

• 3+ years of SaaS website UX/product design experience.
• Proven track record in designing web interfaces and collaborating with engineering teams to develop user flows and prototypes.
• Proficient with major design tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVision, Principle, etc.)
• Demonstrated passion for UX and a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a startup or high-impact, outcome-driven environment preferred.
• Driven, self-motivated, and a creative thinker always on the lookout for ways to improve or enhance current state.
