Position Summary: The Diabetes Centre (TDC) is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join as the Director of the Office of Projects, Strategy, and Analytics (OPSA). The ideal candidate will spearhead initiatives to enhance our project management capabilities, drive strategic planning, and lead analytical efforts that support our mission. This position involves significant interaction with various governmental and non-governmental stakeholders, and collaboration with academic institutions to develop specialized educational programs in diabetes care. 6. Key Responsibilities: A. Strategic Leadership: i. Develop and implement strategic plans that align with TDC's mission and vision. ii. Lead the OPSA team in managing projects, ensuring they meet organizational goals and are delivered on time and within budget. B. Stakeholder Engagement: i. Foster strong relationships with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders and partners to advance TDC’s objectives. ii. Represent TDC in national and international forums related to diabetes care and management. C. Program and Project Development: i. Collaborate with the Health Services Academy of Pakistan and other educational institutions to establish and maintain courses and training programs targeted at medical and allied health professionals, focusing on graduate and postgraduate levels. ii. Manage and oversee TDC expansion projects, including new centers in major cities and the deployment of the Hospital on Wheels, ensuring these projects align with strategic goals and enhance TDC's reach and impact. D. Analytics and Reporting: i. Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to guide strategic decisions and improve program outcomes. ii. Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress and strategic insights to the board of directors and other key stakeholders. E. Team Management: i. Lead, mentor, and develop the OPSA team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. ii. Manage the recruitment and retention of staff within the OPSA, aligning with TDC's human resources policies and standards. 7. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in a leadership role within a healthcare or non-profit setting, with a strong preference for experience in diabetes-related programs.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, strategic planning, and data analytics, including managing large-scale healthcare projects.
- Strong ability to engage and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Urdu.
- Proven track record of developing and leading teams.
- Familiarity with the healthcare landscape and regulatory environment in Pakistan is highly desirable.
