Position Overview: As an Inventory and Revenue Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing inventory management processes, revenue optimization strategies, and financial analysis initiatives. Leveraging your expertise in inventory control, revenue forecasting, and financial modeling, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, maximize revenue streams, and drive operational efficiency.   1. Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce carrying costs while ensuring adequate supply to meet demand.
  2. Demand Forecasting: Utilize statistical forecasting methods, demand planning tools, and historical sales data to forecast customer demand, identify trends, and anticipate inventory requirements across product lines.
  3. Inventory Analysis: Conduct regular inventory analysis, including ABC analysis, cycle counting, and inventory turnover analysis, to identify slow-moving items, excess inventory, and opportunities for optimization.
  4. Inventory Optimization: Implement inventory optimization techniques, such as safety stock optimization, reorder point calculation, and lead time analysis, to improve inventory accuracy, reduce stockouts, and enhance service levels.
  5. Revenue Management: Develop and execute revenue management strategies, pricing models, and promotions to maximize revenue streams, drive profitability, and capitalize on market opportunities.
  6. Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to evaluate revenue performance, identify revenue drivers, and make data-driven recommendations for revenue enhancement.
  7. Forecasting and Budgeting: Prepare revenue forecasts, budget projections, and financial models to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and decision-making processes.
  8. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align inventory and revenue management strategies with business objectives, drive process improvements, and achieve revenue targets.
  9. Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and dashboards to monitor inventory performance, revenue performance, and profitability metrics, and provide regular reporting to senior management.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in inventory management and revenue optimization, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, revenue management, or related roles, preferably in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis, financial modeling, and data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience with inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and demand planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, or Demand Solutions.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control principles, revenue management concepts, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive change.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, able to translate business goals into actionable strategies and drive execution to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and propose innovative solutions.
