About the role: The Support Lead for the Aladdin Governance & Support Team will work with the Head of Aladdin Governance & Support in managing and developing our usage of the Aladdin Enterprise as well as our broader strategic relationship with BlackRock Solutions (BRS), in support of the broad ESI Group and Aladdin users across the end-to-end business functions of the organisation. The successful individual must be capable of understanding both complex business and technology platforms and have a broad understanding of both the investment operations and the technology that underpins required processes. Experience and knowledge of the Aladdin platform is highly preferred. Responsibilities:

  • Governing and maintaining the overall Aladdin requirements, impact analysis, permissioning and BlackRock relationship needs with key stakeholders
  • Assisting the team in being the central point of contact with the client relationship managers and senior representatives
  • Assisting the team in working with our investment teams, dealing, transitions and other departments in establishing longer term system capability requirements and priorities with the client.
  • Running periodic reviews of our Aladdin system usage as part of the overall investment lifecycle
  • Enabling regular insights and preparing management information on Aladdin usage
  • Working with our compliance and SecOps colleagues to ensure policies and practices adhere to regulatory requirements
  • Driving new change initiatives relating to the platform
  • Timely management of queries from our investment teams
Experience & Qualifications
  • Degree in Business related disciplines with at least 2-5 years of working experience in the financial industry, preferably in an Asset Management company
  • Knowledge and experience of order management and execution systems, preferably Aladdin
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external business parties.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent priority and time management skills, with the ability to manage different stakeholders across the firm.
  • Excellent presentation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience and knowledge of data analytical tools.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English required.
