The Company We are seeking a Functional Business Analyst to support our client, a well-established leading provider of business services. This is a 12 months contract with possibility of extension. As a Business Analyst, you will be supporting the migration of Payroll and Accounting processes into our client's Shared Services. The Role
- Collaborate with operations to inventory current and target processes.
- Identify opportunities to migrate processes to Shared Services.
- Lead process mapping workshops to capture current processes.
- Design new processes and document them according to quality standards.
- Update documentation and training materials.
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Plan and implement process improvement projects.
- Work with operational owners to implement new processes.
- Support change management activities.
- Coordinate training and track completion.
- Monitor migration progress and benefits realization.
- Identify and mitigate risks.
- Identify issues and participate in problem resolution.
- Maintain project plans and schedules.
- Support project meetings and document outputs.
- Proactively manage project execution.
- Ensure adherence to project management standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement culture.
- Over 5 years of experience in managing projects and analyzing business needs, including work in finance and accounting.
- Proficient in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma with a focus on continuous enhancement and business process reengineering.
- Ability to overcome adversity/resistance to change and influence others to drive the highest results.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across various functions in the organization.
- Highly organized, attention to detail, excellent follow through skills and ability to work independently and motivate a team
