Position Overview: As a Senior Azure Cloud Architect , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the cloud architecture landscape within our organization. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of guiding Azure Cloud best practices, optimizing cost efficiency through strategic service selection, and acting as a consultant to our entire engineering team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong communication skills to drive the successful implementation of cloud solutions that align with our business objectives. Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure Azure cloud architectures that meet business requirements and industry best practices.
• Cost Optimization : Analyse cloud usage and spending patterns to identify opportunities for cost optimization. Provide recommendations on service selection and resource allocation to maximize cost efficiency without compromising performance or reliability.
• Technical Consultation: Serve as a trusted advisor to our engineering teams, providing guidance on cloud architecture design, implementation strategies, and best practices. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize Azure cloud environments for performance, scalability, and resilience. Implement solutions to address performance bottlenecks and improve overall system efficiency.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that Azure cloud architectures adhere to security and compliance standards, including data encryption, identity and access management, and regulatory requirements. Implement robust security controls to protect sensitive data and mitigate security risks.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and best practice guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency across projects. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on Azure cloud technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) preferred.
• experience designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions in a senior architect or similar role.
• knowledge of Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• understanding of cloud architecture best practices, including scalability, availability, and disaster recovery.
• in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• track record of successfully leading complex cloud architecture projects from inception to completion.
• in the Revenue Cycle Management domain would be an added advantage.
