DIRECTOR - INDIRECT TAX

Purpose of the Job

• The purpose of the job role is to assist in the management of the organization’s indirect tax compliance and advisory activities. The role involves providing guidance and advice to clients on best practices for managing their GST obligations. This includes working directly with clients to assess their indirect tax obligations and to develop strategies for optimizing their indirect tax outcomes.

• Client engagement- respond and resolve within time, Ensuredeliverables (technical and non-technical) execution, Responsibleforcoordinationandcompletionofassigned tasks.
• Good technical skills, Expertise in Indirect Taxation that includesCompliance, Advisory and Departmental representation/Litigation, having both Working knowledge & extensive practical exposure ofIndirect Taxation that includes Service Tax, VAT and other statetaxesandextensiveknowledgeofGST.Thismayincludefacetsof
• ReviewofmonthlytaxcomputationsunderGST
• GST AnnualReturnandAuditReport
• ProvideGSTadvicetoteammembers,CustomersandSuppliers,adviseontaximplicationsfornewbusinessdeals etc.
• Handling Indirect Tax Litigations, routine notice, SCNs,departmentalaudits
• Proactivelyhandledaytodayqueries fromclients
• Ensure timely planning and completion of activities againstdeadline.
• Team Management
