Job Description: We are looking for a full-time Geospatial Solutions Operator with a geological or engineering technical background. The Geospatial Solutions Team is dedicated to the analysis of SAR data and the delivery to the Clients with a strong focus on customer support. This role requires a good GIS expertise, excellent writing and communication skills, problem solving and negotiation attitude. The Candidate should enjoy the challenge of learning new things and he/she love applying his/her skills to fulfill clients’ needs. Job Responsibilities And Duties:

  • Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems
  • Conducting post-production of InSAR datasets with ESRI ArcGIS software and/or internal tools to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Liaising with the data processing team to understand the InSAR data sets and ensure they meet required quality standards
  • Presents results to clients. Liaising with clients to build and maintain strong, professional relationships
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines while delivering on commitments to clients
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution
  • Writing clear professional reports that incorporate spatial data analysis and geographic information
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Supporting sales and marketing by preparing material (presentations, case histories, white papers, etc.), attending company booths at tradeshows, as well as attending technical conferences
Education & Experience requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Geology, Geomatics, Civil, Geotechnical or Mine Engineering, or other related technical disciplines
  • Knowledge of InSAR and remote sensing
  • Good knowledge of ArcGIS software
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office suite (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • C level English knowledge (writing and speaking)
The followings skills are an asset: ‐ Communication attitude ‐ Geological background ‐ Knowledge of on other surveying techniques The followings skills are desirable: ‐ Familiarity with mining or geotechnical sectors ‐ Previous experience in customer service
