Job Description: Location: All across India(Remote) Responsibilities : PL/SQL Migration (6i-12c): Analyze and comprehend the existing Oracle 6i, 10g, and 11g PL/SQL codebase. Identify compatibility issues and dependencies with other database objects. Develop a comprehensive migration plan outlining timeline, resources, and strategies for each version. Migrate PL/SQL code to Oracle 12c, ensuring functionality and capitalizing on new features when applicable. Thoroughly test migrated code to identify and address any discrepancies. Document the migration process and migrated code for future reference. Oracle Forms & Reports Migration: Analyze and evaluate the existing Oracle Forms and Reports applications. Assess compatibility challenges and dependencies with the underlying PL/SQL code. Develop a migration strategy for Forms and Reports, considering potential modernization opportunities in Oracle 12c. Utilize Oracle migration tools (e.g., Forms Migration Assistant) to streamline the process. Conduct thorough testing of migrated Forms and Reports to guarantee proper functionality. Document migration steps and maintain clear records of migrated applications. Collaborate with DBAs, developers, and business analysts for a comprehensive and coordinated migration effort. Qualifications: Extensive experience in developing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL code across various versions (6i, 10g, 11g). Solid understanding of Oracle 12c PL/SQL enhancements and new features. In-depth knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports functionalities and development practices. Expertise in code migration best practices and strategies for minimizing compatibility issues. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively navigate stakeholders and team members.
