Key Responsibilities
- Manage mission-critical systems in high-stress situations
- Be versatile and willing to wear multiple hats as needed
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
- Mentor and guide Junior Engineers while fostering best practices
- Work independently, showcasing a strong sense of ownership and self-drive
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing and scaling infrastructure
- Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Cloudformation
- Configure and manage various AWS services like VPC, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Transit Gateway etc
- Strong understanding of AWS Networking
- Experience with CI/CD framework like GitHub actions or AWS CodePipeline etc.
- Able to work independently for a given project around Cloud, Devops and SRE function
- Good understanding of security best practices to protect cloud infrastructure and data
- Collaborate with Developers and Portfolio Managers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience
- Integration experience with financial systems such as Bloomberg API(Strong plus)
- Experience working in a Hedge Fund / Trading Firm type environment.
- Proficiency in at least one JVM language (Java, Kotlin, Scala)
- Experience with Python or Rust
