Job Position: Conventional Machinist Company Background: Diesel Engine Repair Service Office Location: Benoi Rd Singapore 629881 (MRT: Green EW 30) Working Hours: 8 am 530pm; Mon Fri Salary Package: Basic SGD 1800 SGD 2200 Benefit: Allowance / Incentive will be open discussion in the Interview session Transport: Provided Allowance: OT beyond 2 hrs there will be $5 meal allowance Can you accept staff back and forth : Yes Job Description : Able to machine parts accurately and quickly from engineered drawings Must be able to interpret technical drawings and other technical documents to determine appropriate repair parts and procedures. Operates and inspects completed work to determine repair success. Maintain a clean and organized work area on a daily basis Conduct daily machine tool preventive maintenance Organized and stored machining fixtures for future use Identifies parts that need to be replaced and places orders for parts or repair services as necessary for themselves and the mechanical technicians. Assist the workshop supervisor/technical director to complete the work scope within the time frame given and perform selfinspection on finished workpiece Must be able to manage time and coordinate all aspects of the job that is assigned by the Supervisor or Workshop Manager. Demonstrates efficient job planning and time scheduling Must execute all tasks with all prescribed safety equipment in place and person using applicable OSHA rules for themselves and the mechanical technicians. Any other task as and when assigned by manager/management. Job Requirement : Operate conventional horizontal lathe machines with min. 3 years experience Good basic knowledge of cutting tool applications fixture devices part settings and machine settings in different sizes. Able to understand the blueprint Remote Work : No
