Job Description
This is a remote position.Somalia M&E / Research Manager
CLOSING: 10th May 2024Summary
HII is seeking an experienced M&E manager or research coordinator to lead our projects in Somalia. This position is ideal for someone who wants to take a leading role in delivering a number of HII's evaluation, monitoring and research and projects across Somalia. You would be an ideal candidate if you have a wide network in the humanitarian and development sector, have knowledge of research and field management, experience in qualitative research and want to make an impact. This is a role for someone living in Somalia or regularl travelling to Somalia. The Role This role will manage local project teams to deliver research, evaluation and monitoring field work and able to conduct localised analysis. and support in business development across HII's practices. The role involves:- Providing local and contextual advice into project designs and analysis;
- Building and managing effective research and evaluation field teams including recruitment, training, performance management, professional development and logistical support;
- Building lasting partner and client relationships in Somalia;
- Producing high quality English language project reports;
- Overseeing the fieldwork of mixed methods projects;
- Ensuring all projects are intersectional, conflict, disability and gender sensitive.
