About the role Reporting to the Irish Distillers CEO, the Culture and Creativ e Director, will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's identity, fostering creativity, and driving excellence in execution across all touchpoints. By i njecting culture, creativity and openness, the Culture & Creative Director will inspire and challenge the status quo , helping to evolve the Irish Distiller s brand portfolio into pu rpose driven brands and cultural leaders , through brand image con s istency and excellence in execution . Working closely with our Pernod Ricard Creative Center of Excellence ( CoE ) based in Paris and the Irish Distillers International Marketing Team based in Dublin, key responsibilities will include : What is involved? Lead, i nspire and manage creativity- Lead and inspire creativity across Jameson and our Prestige and Speciality brands by fostering a collaborative and result s -oriented environment.
- Elevate our full whiskey portfolio brand identit ies through purpose, creativity, and consistency, ensuring alignment with organi s ational values and goals.
- Act as the driving force behind cultural and creative initiatives, collaborating closely with the Culture & Creative Center of Excellence ( CoE ) and the Irish Distillers International Marketing Team to reinforce the brand's cultural impact .
- Inspire creativity that is both brand-driven and socially responsible, ensuring alignment with our brand values and objectives across all projects and initiatives.
- Serve as the guardian of our brands visual identity, tone of voice, and overall brand aesthetic inspiring and supporting the Irish Distillers International Marketing Team across all touchpoints .
- Establish a long-term vision for the brand's identity and cultural relevance, anchoring it further within the global whiskey landscape.
- Develop and deliver a cohesive framework for the brand's identities, ensuring consistency and alignment across various global markets and consumer segments.
- Serve as the “brand excellence” guardian that supports the Irish Distillers International Marketing Team to en sure that innovative and consumer-centric experiences tailored to meet the evolving needs and preferences of target markets maintain s the brand's authenticity and heritage.
- Lead the cultur al development and evolution of our brands , creating and evolving our brand culture platforms with the Irish Distillers International Marketing Team and creating frameworks, territories, activations and seeking for new opportunities for Irish Distillers brands to authentically become cultural relevant icons worldwide.
- Cultivate relationships with key figures and entities in the creative world, including designers, artists, architects, photographers, directors, and art directors, while staying abreast of emerging trends and talent s , in close collaboration with the ‘ Culture & Talents relationship Director ’ at C entre of Expertise in Paris, France.
- Cultivate relationships with key figures and entities within our brand activation territories, especially within music and entertainment .
- Actively seek out and engage with creative influencers and thought leaders, fostering collaboration opportunities, and driving the brand's presence within the creative community.
- Work hand in hand with the Irish Distillers International Marketing Team to inject culture into our brands, being the guardian of the cultural platforms and supporting the teams wi n within our Brand activation territories.
- 10-15 years creative and brand experience elevating brand identity through purposeful and creative initiatives , and driving game-changing collaborations and partnerships within lifestyle, entertainment, music and film industries
- A blend ed background of agency and in-house creative leadership experience is preferred.
- Fully embedded into the Music and Films industry, with extensive networking opportunity within these areas. Proven ability to cultivate relationships with key figures and entities in the creative world.
- Proven track record of working with a leading lifestyle brand, one that has captured attention, inspired, and engaged global audiences.
- Strong leadership skills, with an ability to engage and drive results
- Strong c ollaboration skills, being able to work hand in hand with several marketing teams and stakeholders within Irish Distil l ers.
- Ability to communicate vision effectively and inspire and cultivate creativity that aligns with brand values and objectives .
- Deep understanding of cultural trends and their impact on brand perception .
- Experienced in brand equity and positioning management , including visual identity, tone of voice, and brand aesthetic. , maintaining consistency across various touchpoints and markets
- Future focussed, with strategic thinking to develop a long-term vision and framework for our brands identities in the global whiskey landscape , while developing long-term cultural relevance for brands.
