Job Description We are expanding the business engagement team and are looking for people with business experience from NAV or Middle Office functions to facilitate the testing, deployment and validation of our applications. The team is responsible for providing leadership, responsibility and management of Development, Management initiatives, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Client Specific Quality Assurance (QA). There is a focus on strategic testing processes and procedures that enhance the quality of our applications and ensuring that the company standards and specifications are met. We are looking for experienced professionals with an interest in automation and testing. No previous experience in application development lifecycle required. Key Accountabilities of the Role The below list is not finite and may be added to. The combination of tasks required to be executed will vary depending on both client structure, client requirements and business needs.

  • Working with colleagues in multiple offices (New York, Sofia, Cork and Dublin) – establish a framework and commitment to upholding quality at HedgeServ
  • Working with client service teams and development groups across different departments to understand key client processes and deliverables as well as customized deliverables
  • Establishing and maintaining an Acceptance Criteria Checklist focused on key client(s)
  • Working with Development and Business teams to ensure acceptance criteria checklists remain current and relevant
  • Completion of acceptance checklists for release candidate builds
  • Raising any unexpected behaviours or results as bugs to product owners
  • Help triaging differences on automated testing results and assisting automated testers
  • Assist in sign-off and acceptance of release on behalf of business users
  • Work with dedicated development group to automate completion of the acceptance checklist to facilitate coverage of more clients
  • Working with Business teams and Product groups to assist with rollout, deprecation and take-up of new technology, workflows and processes
  • Working with Business teams and Product groups to help define test cases for new functionality
  • Work with various teams on projects to increase efficiency and quality for HedgeServ clients
  • Act as an SME on projects that the team has been involved in
Pre-requisite knowledge, skills and experience The successful candidate should:
  • 1-4 years experience preferably working in a NAV/MO role
  • Accounting, Finance, Business or, Computer Science Degree.
  • IT Literate
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively both within a team structure or independently.
  • Strong inter-personal skills
  • Good initiative tempered with identifying when escalation is required.
  • Strong systems, product and process knowledge
  • Reliable and Dependable and keen attention to detail
  • Approachable & Committed
  • Ability to positively influence team morale
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
