Position Summary: DPS Advanced Technology Group is seeking a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Administrator to join our team in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, maintaining, and supporting the project requirements. The coordination must be consistent with Client standards. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and adaptable person with some previous experience of working in a manufacturing/Lab environment. The successful candidate will be required to have excellent safety focus and demonstrate the ability to follow operating procedures, also with the ability to work well as part of a multifunctional team. This position will be based in Cork Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the Manufacturing Execution system to meet the needs of the fab
i. Modify Routes, Layers, Modules and Process Steps to accurately model the required process flow. ii. Update equipment and facility metadata to accurately model the facility. iii. Update/Create system reports (inside the MES) iv. Update/Create system logic as specified by change orders.
  • Maintain the system according to the change management cycle dictated by the facility. v. Ensure proper propagation of changes from DEV to PROD vi. Ensure changes have been approved prior to entry to PROD. vii. Ensure changes have been smoke-tested in DEV prior to entry to PROD, when complex.
  • Track changes and the objects they impact.
  • Provide direct support of the MES via chat/video conference to engineers or technicians on the floor, acting as an escalation path if needed to bring in more knowledgeable support.
  • Aggregate and translate requirements and new needs from support/requests into real world solutions.
  • Document changes and requirements and map them to each other.
  • Prepare/update SOPs and documentation as assigned by the team lead.
  • Aggregate and translate requirements into real-world solutions in the system
  • Write basic SQL queries and Tableau reports to assist in visualizing data.
Education & Experience:
  • Minimum – L7 Certificate or diploma in ICT related discipline
  • Minimum – years’ experience or equivalent
  • Previous experience of a data entry/MES systems is a definite advantage.

  • Must be able to navigate complexities of technical ownership with a fast-paced business.
  • Able to understand and negotiate trade-offs in timeline, budget, and requirements while maintaining quality of work and data integrity of system.
