Information Security Analyst

We are searching for a passionate and motivated Information Security Analyst to join our team. You will play a vital role in safeguarding our company's confidential data and IT infrastructure from cyber threats. Responsibilities:

• Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior and potential security breaches.
• Analyze security logs and identify vulnerabilities in our systems.
• Implement and maintain security controls, such as firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing (optional, depending on experience).
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, following established procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Document security activities and findings to maintain clear records.
• Educate and train employees on cybersecurity best practices (e.g., phishing awareness).

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in information security analysis or a related role.
• Strong understanding of security principles, concepts, and methodologies (e.g., CIA triad, risk management).
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Working knowledge of network security concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
