itContracting are seeking applicants for a Senior Project Manager to join the team of their Monaghan based client. Location: The role will be nationwide depending on where projects will be located. Remote work reporting to HQ in Carrickmacross Co Monaghan as per business needs for meetings etc. Job Type: Permanent Responsibilities include:
- Ability to work on numerous projects across UK & ROI whilst being the client’s main point of contact from implementation to final handover.
- Own the overall project including construction activities, resource planning, creating plans, budgeting, design sign off that are aligned to the roll out plan
- Ability to manage several projects across multiple clients/jurisdictions
- Identify risks, issues, and actions throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Ability to think creatively and maximise the customer journey whilst delivering a revenue target.
- Ensure project milestones are adhered to by all parties by maintaining constant and consistent communication channels and ensuring that the relevant sign off documents are completed
- Ensure all communication is fully documented in line with project implementation methodology
- Manage customer issues/objections through to their resolution
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure there is clear communication on all projects
- Liaise with procurement Department to ensure timely delivery of materials onsite to meet the agreed programme of works
- Oversee system commissioning, performance testing, and handover to the client.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project reports, schedules, and correspondence.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering/project management essential or relevant industry experience
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with key decision makers
- High degree of accuracy required in detail and presentation
- Knowledge of any Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD, PV Design Tools or similar) & MS Project
- Previous experience of working within a similar, fast-paced environment which involved resolving queries and providing responses for bids / proposals.
- Experience with the tendering and bidding process in the construction industry.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills i.e., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Highly competent in administrative skills and computer literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels within an organisation.
- The ability to prioritise & manage your time and workload.
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to work off own initiative and self-motivated in identifying new business.
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines

- Proactive approach to innovation and problem solving
- Proven experience 5 yrs. + in delivery of large scale Renewable/Utility projects ideally Solar PV
