Head of Program and Change Management Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of group initiatives within the transformation program, ensuring alignment across all work streams and maintaining momentum at an appropriate pace.
  • Lead teams in devising, executing, and integrating a plan to achieve the transformational program's objectives.
  • Navigate conflicting priorities and interdependencies within the program and other organizational areas, offering guidance on the most suitable courses of action.
  • Manage organizational risks associated with the transformation program.
  • Facilitate the detailed design of change initiatives in accordance with organizational design principles.
  • Facilitate the transfer of knowledge and ownership from the program to the wider organization.
  • Incorporate external perspectives into change management and business design processes, adopting them where suitable.
  • Develop implementation roadmaps for strategic technology initiatives, outlining short-term and long-term goals and benefits.
  • Align strategic planning with the group roadmap.
  • Cultivate relationships and networks with senior stakeholders throughout the organization, providing support and constructive challenge to business segments and facilitating sessions as needed.
  • Review and approve key deliverables (e.g., BRD/FSD, Test Plans, Release plans), sharing joint accountability for program planning, budgeting/project finances, risk management, and stakeholder engagement with the Business Program Manager.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, computer engineering or related field
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 18 years in roles within large and intricate organizations, preferably within Management Consulting, with 5 to 8 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Track record of successfully developing and executing technology transformation objectives and plans, achieving high levels of performance within strict budgetary constraints.
  • Profound understanding of the banking sector, its products, as well as broader governmental priorities and legislation in the region, alongside an awareness of the evolving social and economic landscape of the financial industry.
  • Proven and successful history of managing IT strategic planning and implementation, organizational change management, and redesign or transformation initiatives.
  • Evidence of building highly productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration, partnerships, and service delivery.
