We are now inviting applications for the above position within the Retail Digital Team in Tramore Rd, Cork City. The Digital IT Senior Business Analsyt is the liaison between business and technology teams within Musgrave, as well as our technical vendors, to facilitate delivery of key technology business asks. We are seeking a technically strong Senior Business Analyst, with high energy and excited about working in a fast paced, dynamic, digital environment. Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Work with a team of Project managers, IT Product Owners, Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, and QA’s to deliver multiple Digital Products within the Musgrave Digital Estate
  • Work on the latest cutting-edge technologies which help to deliver App and Web solutions that are used in the market by your family and friends
  • Vendor Management from requirement ideation through to delivery
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand the requirementsof the organisation and its individual departments.
  • Communicate, translate, and simplify business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
  • Clear understanding of Product Roadmaps including upgrades & patching
  • Delivery of projects and iterative product improvements
  • Work with development team to ensure that they understand the specifications and deliver business need
  • QA support of features brought into development
  • Ensuring all designs adhere to Musgrave Enterprise Architecture and solution architecture spec
  • Keep up to date with latest digital technologies, competitor analysis, and trends in the marketThe successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Experience of working with Digital Products
  • A history of working with various stakeholders to agree and prioritise multiple deliveries
  • Strong system analysis experience, analytical skills and an ability to deal with multiple business demands simultaneously
  • A 3rd level degree qualification in a computer related discipline with a minimum
  • Min, 5 years experience in an Business Analyst or IT Business Analyst role
  • A team player with proven ability to work autonomously
  • A history of successfully delivering products into the market
  • Change management and transformation skills
  • Experience with different project methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, Kanban
  • Ability to position and “sell” solutions that are reasonable, actionable, and cost-effective, including the ability to properly gauge the requirements and “plug” the appropriate solution.
  • Highly Organised, structured and performance driven
  • Enjoy really understanding a product and how that product might change over time
  • Innovative in your thinking and a willingness to learn and embrace new and existing technology
  • Personable, proactive, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and influence effectively at all levels across the business to get initiatives delivered
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships that deliver results and effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Able to work effectively in matrix environment
  • Passion for customer facing business an advantage
