You will be responsible for the preparation of full year accounts for regulated legal entities, monitoring of daily regulatory ratios and preparation of regulatory returns for submission to the external regulators, whilst ensuring integrity of financial information. You will assist with projects and associated activities such as identifying operational process enhancements, automation and implementing changes to reporting requirements. You will apply your sharp finance and accounting acumen to understand and apply rules, interpretations, and assumptions around regulatory requirements, and ensure regulatory obligations are accurately completed and lodged on a timely basis. What you offer
- Bachelor of accountancy or finance and hold or currently working towards a professional accounting qualification like CA or CPA
- 2+ years experience in financial accounting, financial control, audit, legal entity control, or regulatory reporting in a financial institution
- High attention to detail and the confidence to flag potential issues and strong numerical and abstract reasoning skills
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders across varying levels of seniority
- Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting rules and requirements will be advantageous
- Ability to access and test the validity of complex data will be advantageous.
