Business Function Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions - whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services. Responsibilities
- Support monthly business performance reports (Flash and Actuals) by forming objective insights
- Coordinate and develop appropriate performance metric/systems in support of strategic intent
- Conduct deep dives and insightful financial analytics to highlight focus areas especially in Revenue, Expenses and balance sheet through customer profiling
- Manage both local and regional business stakeholders while present financials to Regional business head
- Coordinate and prepare Group IBG Mid CAP and SME annual budgeting and forecast exercise
- Facilitate business and internal finance adhoc requests
- Participate in team initiatives including digitization, reduction of manual processes to create a more efficient workflow
- Support month-end financial closing for business
- Participate in cross functional project work and new product proposals to help drive the strategic agenda
- Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics, Statistics or any related discipline
- Min 8-10 years post qualification experience
- Team player with good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong self-motivation, with ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment
- High attention to detail & willingness to continuously strive towards higher standards
- Conversant in handling high volume of data, sound knowledge of application software such as Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Hyperion Smartview and Qlikview is a plus
