Job description: We are looking for an IT Systems , Firewall , Network & Infrastructure Head to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data and voice communications network. The ideal candidate needs to be capable to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth IT Operation. Responsibilities: 1) IT Infrastructure Management: • Oversee the overall management of IT infrastructure to ensure stability, scalability, and performance. • Maintain and upgrade servers, networks, and workstations as needed. • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching (L1, L2, L3, routing, protocol, etc.)• Firewall operation like web filter, Bandwidth management, and implementation of the UTM features., • Wireless configuration and implementation experience • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired • Ability to set up and configure hardware (Switches, Routers). • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies • Great at organising, prioritising and multitasking • Hands on experience with CISCO VoIP/Polycom and other systems etc. • Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure within the coworking space. • Responsible for network designing and implementation, project management. • Fully support, configure, maintain, upgrade networks, servers and other IT communications systems, hardware’s and related software’s. • Installation and maintenance of security and telecommunication systems and networks. • Continuously monitor network traffic for security threats and take proactive measures to prevent breaches. • Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points. • Installing and integrating new IT hardware and applications. • Managing the IT infra and coordinate with other departments for the business requirements. • Configuring, managing and maintaining network equipment’s. Installing, configuring and administering network technologies. • Knowledge on voice and data (Cross domain Knowledge). • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade networks and in-house servers, firewall, PBX systems and security systems. • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications • Keep an eye on needed updates • Support and administer third-party applications • Ensure network security and connectivity • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords • Resolve problems reported by end user • Specify system requirements and design solutions • Research and make recommendations on server system administration. • ISP and vendor co-ordination for ensure the Business up-time. • SLA management 2) Firewall Management: • Implement and manage robust firewall systems to protect the company's network and sensitive data. • Monitor and respond to security threats and breaches effectively. 3) Remote Administration: • Establish and maintain remote administration tools and protocols to support off-site employees and clients. • Provide timely and efficient remote technical support for clients when needed. • Manage remote administration tools and protocols to support off-site and mobile employees. 4) Client Handling: • Act as a primary point of contact for client IT-related inquiries, issues, and solutions. • Develop and maintain positive client relationships by addressing their IT needs promptly and professionally. • Offer training and educational resources to clients on IT best practices, security awareness, and efficient use of IT resources. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding IT-related inquiries, issues, and solutions. • Monitor network performance and make improvements as needed to meet client expectations. • Ensure client issues are resolved efficiently and to their satisfaction. 5) Security and Compliance: • Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard data and comply with industry regulations. 6) Network Administration: • Proven experience in a network administrator role • Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points, to maintain a stable and secure network environment. • Monitor network performance and address issues proactively. 7) IT Support and Helpdesk: • Lead a team of IT professionals and helpdesk staff to deliver top-notch technical support to clients and internal employees. • Resolve client and employee IT issues efficiently and effectively. 8) Vendor Management: • Collaborate with technology vendors and service providers to optimize IT systems and services. • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure cost-effective and reliable IT solutions. 9) Budget Management: • Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and responsible financial management. 10) Documentation and Reporting: • Provide regular reports to management on the status of IT infrastructure, security, and client satisfaction. • Monitor network performance and make improvements as needed to meet client expectations. • Ensure client issues are resolved efficiently and to their satisfaction. • Maintain thorough documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures
