You will be part of a team engaged in the validation of BIOS/FW for Server/ client PC products. You will be working in a lab located in a UST location. This is 100% onsite position. Responsibilities : Your job responsibilities include but not limited to
- Understand the FW features and review the test cases to validate them
- Execution of test cases, provide the test results and report defects
- Prepare test systems (client & servers) by assembling the required hardware, flashing FW and installing OS
- Perform triaging of issues and root cause
- Perform bug reproduction and fix verification activities
- Work closely with Customer team in achieving the deliverables
- Publish daily and weekly status reports
- Bachelor degree in Electronics engineering or related field of study
- Experience in validation of BIOS/FW/platform of Server/Client with x86 architecture
- Good Knowledge of various subsystems and interfaces in a PC Client/server system
- Experience using pre-silicon simulation platforms
- Ability to understand BIOS/FW/product features and execute the test cases
- Ability to assemble client computer system
- Ability to understand, articulate and isolate the issues observed during test execution
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with different teams
- Must be working at UST location, there is no option for remote or Hybrid work.
- Previous experience with SIMICS is a plus.
