Job ID 8223 Company Division Group Digital & Information Country Job Type Professional Functional area Digital & Information Working time model Full-time Type of contract Permanent Contact In Foreign Branches we are working in an international team ensuring the global delivery of IT services offered regarding the local business demands mainly for Client Risk Management and its integration into a local system environment, being accountable for overall applications of IT services, from supporting the IT evolution and Digital strategy to guaranteeing Run services directly or engaging other IT factories. Our focus are the foreign branches in New York, Singapore, Milan and London Our mission is to shape platforms evolution strategy and defining the digital roadmap and driving transformation from business products perspective by designing, implementing and maintaining IT solutions end-to-end (including Trading FX, MM, Treasury, Specialized Lending, Payments, Post-Trade, Regulatory reporting, Position Keeping and head office integration solutions), enabling the business strategy, in alignment with group strategy and acting also as a reference point for the relationship with the Clients. Further we are managing the digital portfolio for the area of reference, defining budget estimation to support digital roadmap, resources allocation as well as portfolio creation and monitoring. As a Digital Product Lead you will lead the end to end coordination of our product services for IT applications related to the core banking and processing demand supporting local offices needs. This includes to provide global and local IT processes around accounting, payments, regulatory reporting and head office integration. You will be responsible for a set of applications, change projects related to our structure as well as coordinating the teams tasks and activities. Who You’ll Work With : •Your team members of an international team with a diverse background in Group digital solutions. •Skilled colleagues from Group Digital Solutions, Group Technology Office, domain Architecture, engineering and infrastructure team members within our global IT organization. •Key business stakeholders, Third Party providers, process owners and factory heads will be key and critical partners for this position. •Branch/IT Management functions will be regular stakeholders for your delivery activities.

What you'll be doing

Key tasks and responsibilities: •Coordinator for the team activities within our structure available in different locations:
  • planning and coordinating change and run activities within the team
  • acting as first contact for stakeholders on Branch and Group side as well towards internal Factories
  • being escalation point for change and run activities related to our perimeter
•Application responsible for all applications in your structure to ensure platforms stability and reliability, ensure efficiency and control of performances including high availability for our applications:
  • incidents are properly managed, tracked, classified, escalated and root causes are identified and permanently removed. Prompt feedbacks to business
  • all changes are classified and properly tracked
  • proper escalation process is defined and followed
  • ensure service outsourced within the Run consolidation initiative is in line with expectations
•Accountable for projects that your structure is primary delivery unit for planning, implementation and deployment and delivery according to the requirements (depending on agile or waterfall approach)

What you'll need to succeed

Requirements: •Ability to understand the core banking processes of a bank and the willingness to learn how the current products work (e.g. Finastra product suite) •Vision and strategy definition: Be able to identify the core objectives of a medium to long term plan (e.g. identify strengths & weaknesses, evaluate different scenarios,..) and definition of initiatives to address those objectives •Active Listening: Be able to: 1) give attention to what other people say, understand points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times; 2) listen carefully to the needs of customers, users of the service or others and provide the most appropriate answers in line with company policies •Analytical Thinking: Be able to produce thoughts using logic and reasoning in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems •Confict Management: Be able to take ownership of the handling of all complaints and disputes showing empathy and understanding to achieve resolution. Be fully aware of all Social Responsibility protocols and procedures, and be able to deal with a problematic situation in a professional manner with maturity and empathy •Effective communication: Be able to successfully exchange (oral or written form) information, ideas, opinions, or other types of messages between two or more people, resulting in mutual understanding, according to the Company guidelines •Employee engagement: Be able to improve the involvement and enthusiasm of employees in their work, workplace and remote working •Persuasion and Negotiation: Be able to present arguments during a negotiation or debate, or in written form, in a persuasive manner in order to obtain the most support for the case the speaker or writer represents •Problem solving: Be able to analyze the problem by defning its perimeter and identifying the structural elements that are part of it, in order to propose solutions to solve it •Public speaking: Be able to effectively address an audience (known or unknown) throughout the ability to communicate to them with clarity and confdence for celebratory, entertainment, infuencing, or informative purposes Stakeholder Management •Time Management and Prioritization: Be able to manage different levels of stakeholders and steer decisions, manage signifcant counterparts for the bank (e.g. important clients, institutions, ..) •Resilience: Be able to handle challenges, disruption and change and recover from set-backs and adversity •Teamworking: Be able to achieve and maximize a result by proactively collaborating with the people involved in the activity, through listening, discussion, confict management and proactive communication •English: Be able to have a business conversation and / or to produce documentation (e.g. presentations, Memos, etc.) in English •Project Management: Be able to plan, execute, control and manage the work of a team to achieve specifc goals and meet specifc success criteria at the specifed time and to manage resources include personnel, fnances, technology linked to the project itself •Strategic Thinking: Be able to apply generation and effective application of business insights and possible opportunities, in order to achieve competitive business advantage on a long-term basis •Digital Transformation and Strategy: Be able to design and implement digital transformation strategy for the impacted businesses •IT Governance: Knowledge of principles underlying governance of IT and their application, according to the context and scenario
