Windows System Administrator

A major financial institution is seeking a skilled and motivated Windows Systems Administrator who will be responsible for supporting and leading critical solutioning requirements related to Windows operating systems and IT infrastructure that directly impacts the regional operations of the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop strong customer relations and be considered a trusted advisor/consultant who understand the business objectives.
- Design, Build, Configure, Deploy, Integration, and System Administration of Windows Servers.
- Logical, effective, and methodical troubleshooting, and problem solving both technically and on an interpersonal level.
- Apply latest Windows Security patches and keep servers up to date.
- Carry out thorough QA checks as part of the go-live operations process.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Solution Engineers, and Business Application Owners to capture project requirement.
- Harness infrastructure tools, storage, and network to develop innovative solutions.
- Play an active role of a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Windows for APAC region.
- At least 4 years of Level 2 Windows support experience and detailed knowledge of Windows server system administration, deployment, and maintenance.
- Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
- Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the financial services industry will be an added advantage.
- Must be an independent and a great team player.
