IN A NUTSHELL: The Digital Marketing Specialist (Brand Activation) role at DEX presents an opportunity for individuals to immerse themselves in a comprehensive portfolio of digital services and integrated marketing strategies that includes (but not limited to) communications, creative, social media, web development, production, campaign management, performance & analytics. This position will be based in Singapore, and the candidate will be required to work independently alongside a small team. A strong work ethic, professional attitude and desire to excel within a high-growth environment are expected. Able to work independently and remotely through internal collaborative platforms such as (but not limited to) - Google Office Applications, AirTable, Slack, and others. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  1. Developing Brand Activation Strategies: Create comprehensive strategies to activate a client's brand across various online & offline touchpoints and channels, aligning with the company's overall marketing objectives and target audience.
  2. Executing Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns designed to activate the brand, utilizing a mix of online and offline channels while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Brand Communications, Social, Creative, Development, Performance Marketing & PR.
  3. Budget Management: Manage budgets allocated for brand activation activities, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to maximize ROI.
  4. Measurement and Analytics: Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of brand activation efforts, making data-driven decisions to optimize future campaigns and initiatives.
  5. Coordination with 3rd party vendors for planning, budgeting, and management of execution for brand activities.
  6. Utilize a deep understanding of B2C consumer trends, retail marketing, and emerging omnichannel strategies to drive impactful campaigns.
  7. Manage key accounts of existing and prospect clients and identify opportunities to generate new business for the team.
  8. Share industry best practices with clients, providing strategic guidance and driving their success.
  9. Position yourself as a strong problem-solver in regards to customer success management
  10. Ensure meeting cadence & objectives are set and met while communicated to support teams for execution
  11. As our business is currently in a growth phase, our teammates are expected to have a fundamental level of commercial sense. This entails:

    1. Tracking of sales on a month to month basis
    2. Engage & contribute to business discussion
    3. Provide feedback on how we are able to grow the market
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  1. Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of brand activations and omnichannel marketing
  2. Possess a good understanding of digital marketing, mainly Brand Communications, Web Development, Social & Creative
  3. Enthusiastic, proactive individual with a "can do attitude" who works to a high standard and has an inquisitive nature, with the desire to learn
  4. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and handle stressful situations in a calm and organized manner
  5. Results focused, with strong commercial acumen, self-motivated and driven to take initiative
DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
  1. A degree is recommended however, not essential. Experience & attitude take centerstage
  2. Branding, marketing & communications background with high level of adaptability to new technologies
ADDITIONAL ROLE RELATED INFORMATION:
  1. Regular trainings are provided - online & workshops
  2. Candidate is expected to actively participate and contribute to REX Academy (our internal learning initiative)
