Head of Quality Control (SEA)

Our client seeks a highly experienced professional to join their Investment Banking division as the Head of Quality Control (SEA). In this leadership capacity, you will oversee and maintain internal quality control standards, policies and frameworks for investment banking operations across South East Asia. Your responsibilities include monitoring and managing investment banking operations from acceptance to launch. Additionally, you will conduct reviews to ensure the sufficiency and record-keeping of due diligence work in investment banking transactions, ensuring alignment with local regulatory and internal diligence requirements. To be considered for the role, you should have at least 7 relevant experience in regulators, investment banks, or law firms. A solid understanding of IPO admissions, financial products and familiarity with regulations governing securities companies is essential. Your expertise should extend to a strong knowledge of investment banking operations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Successful candidates will have a proven track record in developing and implementing quality control frameworks and processes. Key attributes for success in this position include effective communication, excellent team spirit, conscientiousness, meticulousness, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to manage stress. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin is required, as the role involves interactions with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
