The Company Our client, a leading modern design company is seeking a dynamic Interim CFO to join their executive leadership team.In this pivotal role, you will serve as a strategic partner, advising on the development and implementation of strategic plans while ensuring alignment with annual budgets and forecasts. The successful candidate will foster high-integrity relationships with key stakeholders, including the CEO, President & COO, investors, and employees, embodying our client's mission and entrepreneurial spirit. The Role
- Lead global finance organization, ensuring compliance and alignment.
- Directly manage accounting teams in Korea and Singapore, coordinating internationally.
- Develop and execute financial strategy, including debt management and IPO preparation.
- Manage annual operating strategy, considering global and Korean markets.
- Oversee accurate financial statement preparation, adhering to standards.
- Manage relationships with auditors, lenders, regulators, and institutions.
- Analyze financial data to assess company health and develop balance sheet strategies.
- Effectively manage IT systems and integrate SAP with NetSuite.
- Collaborate with executive team on strategic plans and cultivate strong stakeholder relationships.
- Lead communication of company's financial story and identify/mitigate financial risks.
- Foster financial discipline and performance accountability.
- Develop post-IPO financial strategy to support growth and manage relationships with investment bankers.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- CPA or similar professional accounting designation is required.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in senior financial leadership, preferably in a global products company.
- Strong understanding of K-GAAP (desired)
- Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Preferably prior experience as a CFO, or a minimum of 15 years in senior financial management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP and NetSuite, is preferred.
